The journey of Sanyaas in the City began with a vision — a vision sparked by a profound moment of clarity. During a phase of deep immersion in Osho’s writings, Adarsh Gupta had a lucid dream that became the catalyst for what would soon evolve into a transformative movement. In that dream, Osho spoke about bringing the essence of Sanyaas to the modern cityscape, planting the seed for a movement that would bridge the gap between spiritual depth and urban life.
At the time, there was no roadmap, no clear structure — just an unshakable knowing that this had to manifest. What followed was a quest to bring together the right minds and hearts to breathe life into this idea. And as if drawn by a shared calling, the core team began to take shape. Dr. Mickey Mehta, Neha Sareen, and Shikha Mehra, each aligned with the spirit of Sanyaas in the City, stepped forward to co-create this vision with complete dedication and soul-fueled commitment.
This movement is not just timely — it is necessary. In a world consumed by the relentless pursuit of material success, where distractions are endless and burnout is the norm, there is a deep void—a longing for meaning, balance, and inner peace. The modern human is wealthier, more connected, and more informed than ever before, yet also more anxious, restless, and unfulfilled. Sanyaas in the City is a call to break free from this cycle, to shift from material obsession to inner freedom, and to redefine success beyond external achievements.
At its core, this movement is about accessing your Soul Mind Intelligence, an innate wisdom that already exists within you. However, over time, a sheath of dust—created by layers of conditioning, societal expectations, and unconscious patterns—builds up, clouding your ability to connect with it. Sanyaas in the City is about clearing this dust, peeling back the layers, and awakening the intelligence of your soul so you can live with clarity, purpose, and deep fulfillment.
This is about living a soul-fired life—where success is not measured by accumulation but by the depth of one’s presence, awareness, and connection to truth. It is not about renouncing the world but about embracing it with a new perspective—one rooted in consciousness, bliss, and authenticity. Through this movement, we invite individuals to step into their highest potential, not by escaping life, but by transforming the way they live it.
We live in a world that glorifies the hustle, rewards endless striving, and equates success with accumulation. Yet, beneath the noise, the deadlines, and the constant chase, there is a quiet longing—a desire for something deeper, something more meaningful. Sanyaas in the City is that missing piece, a movement that bridges the external world of achievement with the internal world of fulfillment.
